Welcome to the Uplake Neighborhood Association website!
Uplake, located at the northernmost tip of Lake Washington, in Kenmore, Washington, is a neighborhood of some 500 homes built mostly in the mid to late 1950s, starting in 1953. The Association was chartered in 1956. We have monthly board meetings, annual membership and election meetings, and special events throughout the year, announced here, via our email list, and in the quarterly newsletter.
Here, we have discussion topics in the Forums; a photo gallery; neighborhood information and history in the Reference section – and keep an eye on the Events page for upcoming meetings and activities. Maybe you can come to a meeting sometime! Sometimes we have pie. Mmmmmmmm, pie.
The Winter 2017 newsletter has been uploaded to the Newsletters section, and the Fall 2016 newsletter has been replaced after going missing due to a database rollback in maintenance.
The Welcome to Uplake booklet introducing our neighbourhood has been updated. Changes include the completed sidewalk work on Bothell Way. You can find the booklet on the Reference page.
The Summer 2016 newsletter – with a new Reliable Workers List inside – has been uploaded and is on the Newsletters page. Also, the Events list has been updated.
The Welcome to Uplake booklet has been updated. Changes include the vastly-increased Metro route 372 bus service and the HodgePodge cafe. Booklet and single-page versions are both on the Reference page.
