Welcome to the Uplake Neighborhood Association website!
Uplake, located at the northernmost tip of Lake Washington, in Kenmore, Washington, is a neighborhood of some 500 homes built mostly in the mid to late 1950s, starting in 1953. The Association was chartered in 1956. We have monthly board meetings, annual membership and election meetings, and special events throughout the year, announced here, via our email list, and in the quarterly newsletter.
Here, we have discussion topics in the Forums; a photo gallery; neighborhood information and history in the Reference section – and keep an eye on the Events page for upcoming meetings and activities. Maybe you can come to a meeting sometime! Sometimes we have pie. Mmmmmmmm, pie.
Special meeting this month, on Wednesday the 27th, about city and state plans for Bothell Way through our end of town – come hear Kriss Overlease and Mayor David Baker talk about what’ll be coming our way. 7pm, Aqua Club.
The Winter 2013 newsletter, and also several new photos, have been posted. Check the Newsletter and Gallery pages to see!
The October board meeting has been moved to the 17th and changed to a Safety Meeting event with Officer Mark Childers of the Kenmore Police Department. As nights get longer; be ready for winter! Check the Events page for details.
